The HRJust project aims at advancing the development of a methodology to strengthen transnational democracy with a focus on protecting human rights defenders. This will be done through a new bottom-up methodology, i.e. the Systematic Ongoing Direct Civil Society Engagement (ODCSE).  ODSCE has two purposes: to rejuvenate the role of civil society by engagement in the co-production of new knowledge to identify gaps in individual human rights protections when States use human rights justifications, and through the actual process of developing this new knowledge in a collaborative way.  Below you can explore the relevant materials, including events and publications, that have informed the development of this new innovative methodology in the Climate WP.
